Membership Information
At this time, the Recreation Center/YMCA in the City of Delaware is planning to use the model that was created when the Liberty Twp/Powell YMCA was built, which extends a 10% membership discount to property owners within the Township.
The passage of the proposed levy will allow for the construction of the new recreation center, which will be managed by the YMCA of Central Ohio (ymcacolumbus). Membership fees are necessary for the building’s day to day operations.
The 2008 fee structure at the Liberty Twp/Powell YMCA is as follows:
Youth: $16.65 per month or $184.50 per year
Young Adult: $23.40 per month or $262.35 per year
Adult: $36.90 per month or $422.10 per year
Family: $61.20 per month or $713.70 per year
Single Parent Family: $47.70 per month or $553.50 per year
These prices do not include sales tax.
Annual adjustments in membership rates generally range between 2-3%.
It is important to note that the YMCA of Central Ohio offers financial assistance, on a sliding fee scale, based on unique individual and family circumstances through our People Helping People assistance program.
The YMCA works best when everyone is included. Therefore, it is the philosophy of the YMCA of Central Ohio to review each case individually.
